THE ROLE
Our Project Managers play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end process of performance venue systems integration projects. This includes managing project design, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning – ensuring projects are delivered on budget, within scope and on time.
Based at LSI’s head office in Woking, Surrey, UK, you will report to the Projects Director.
Standard working hours are 09:00 to 17:30, totalling 42.5 hours per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will organise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with representatives from both the Operations and Technical teams under the guidance of the Projects Director.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with consultants, architects, end clients and main contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Managing project budgets effectively, optimising financial resource allocation and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Developing and implementing strategic project plans to maximise profitability and achieve client satisfaction.
- Monitoring resource allocation, health and safety standards and maintaining comprehensive testing documentation throughout project lifecycles.
- Using Microsoft 365 applications to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
- Leveraging Business Central for streamlined project financial management.
- Demonstrating proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant applications to support project design and implementation.
- Being flexible to work internationally, with the ability to travel at short notice to oversee and coordinate projects as required.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards while working on international projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Proven experience in project management within the built environment, preferably in the performance venues sector.
- A strong track record in budget management, with the ability to optimise financial resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently as well as collaboratively, often under tight deadlines.
- A professional demeanour and appearance.
- Relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) accreditation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, Business Central and AutoCAD.
- A relevant project management certification (desirable).
- Self-motivation, proactiveness and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, vendors, clients and other stakeholders.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering construction-based projects, with a desire to further develop your career in project management.
- A combination of training, education and relevant work experience.
- Confirmation of eligibility to work in the UK.
TRAVEL:
This role may require up to 25% travel. While it is primarily office-based, some travel to sites in the UK, Europe and the Middle East may be necessary.
