3,600 sq.ft.
In the autumn of 2017, Bloomberg moved its European HQ to a brand new 1.1m sq.ft. complex to house their 4000 employees. Designed by Foster & Partners, it is spread across two buildings joined by a 5 storey bridge, and with clear views of St.Paul’s Cathedral.
Working with system integrator, dB Broadcast, LSI provided the lighting control system, in addition to the supply and installation of the lighting grid and luminaires. The control is required to interface with BNCS which is being used to control the production lighting console using OSC over TCP/IP. In addition, lighting cues can be recalled via the production automation system using Midi Show Control over TCP/IP
LSI Projects worked with the end client’s consultant, Lighting Design Group of New York, to provide a technical solution that means various differing skilled employees can access and use the lighting system, across various locations throughout the building.
