In October 2013, Aberdeen City Council, announced that The Events Complex Aberdeen (TECA) would be built to ensure the city continues to attract large and popular events and secures a bigger share of the conference, exhibition and concert market.
Now renamed P&J Live (after the local newspaper ‘Aberdeenshire Press & Journal’), the venue is state-of-the-art encompassing 48,000 sqm of internal exhibition
space comprising of 33,000 sqm of subterranean space, a 9,000 sqm arena, 6,000 sqm hall which is divisible into three 2,000 sqm spaces, with an extra 10,000 sqm outdoor space.
Working to a specification from Theatre Projects Consultants, LSI Projects, worked with one of their Electrical sub-contractors, Samson & Strong, to design, supply, and install the complete Lighting, Sound and AV technical infrastructure. This included:

Design, Supply, and Installation of the complete system:

Production lighting electrical, data, audio, and video containment
•
Production lighting power distribution and associated socket outlets
•
Audio, data, and video patching and facility panels
Working to a tight programme, LSI Projects managed to complete this major installation project within 15 weeks.
