At the heart of Mumbai’s cultural renaissance is the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), housed in the iconic Jio World Centre. Bringing together state-of-the-art technology, elegant design and immersive experiences, the Grand Theatre has become one of the most technologically advanced venues in India.
Creating a space where both the technical and the aesthetic come together seamlessly was a key priority for the Grand Theatre. LSI Projects was brought on board to provide and supervise the installation of the venue’s stage lighting system to meet the exacting requirements of the performance space.
Working to a technical specification by Theatre Projects Consultants, LSI Projects supplied and supervised the installation of the lighting infrastructure and equipment for the Grand Theatre. The new lighting system now ensures that each show is presented in its best possible light – quite literally.

The lighting setup at The Grand Theatre doesn’t just illuminate—it transforms. It brings to life the space’s sophisticated design, which includes more than 8,400 Swarovski crystals integrated into the ceiling, reflecting light and creating a captivating, multi-dimensional visual experience that sets the tone for every performance.

With a seating capacity of over 2,000, spread across three levels, The Grand Theatre is designed to bring people together.
